A very Merry Christmas from Ontario’s New Democrats

On behalf of Ontario’s New Democrats, I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and the happiest of holidays.

The holidays are for family and friends. It is a time to share a meal, to catch up, to exchange gifts and to slow down our busy lives. I hope that everyone has the opportunity to enjoy the sights and sounds of the season. Some of my fondest memories of Christmases past are walking through the neighbourhoods near my house in Hamilton with my son and looking at all the lit up houses.

It is also important for us to remember that there are many among us for whom the season can be very challenging. I would encourage anyone who is able to support your local food banks and shelters as they try to meet the ever-growing needs of those Ontarians who are less fortunate.
