Andrea Horwath Statement on Yom Kippur

I would like to extend warm wishes to all of Ontarians observing Yom Kippur, one of the most important holidays in the Jewish calendar.

The Day of Atonement is a special opportunity to reflect on past struggles and prepare for positive change in the year ahead.

A shared commitment to the betterment of ourselves, and our communities, is key to building a brighter future for our province. 

On behalf of Ontario New Democrats, my deepest appreciation for the on-going contributions of people of  Jewish heritage to our province, and I look forward to continuing to work together for a more fair, inclusive and prosperous Ontario.
