Commuters deserve better transit now: NDP

NDP Urban Transit critic MPP Cheri Dinovo issued the following statement:

“Commuters in the GTA have every right to be concerned that Kathleen Wynne is making transit planning decisions in the interests of the Liberal Party instead of in the public interest.   

Once again the Premier is showing that she’s prepared to spend another 100 million dollars in public resources to save another Liberal seat in another election. Ontarians deserve access to better transit now. New Democrats will build transit based on evidence and expert advice that will serve the needs of commuters.”
