Statement from Ontario NDP Leader Andrea Horwath on Rosh Hashanah

“Rosh Hashanah is a time for redemption, forgiveness and renewal in the Jewish faith. It is a time to gather with family, friends and community in celebration.  It is a time to reflect on the year that was, and look forward to the year ahead.

The Ontario NDP is proud to celebrate this day with the Jewish community in Ontario and to say thank-you for the many outstanding contributions of Ontarians of Jewish faith to our province.

To everyone who is celebrating this Holy day, Ontario’s New Democrats wish you peace, prosperity and good health.
