Northern communities on any given day continue to see the price per litre range from $0.20 to $0.70 more than our Southern Ontario counterparts.

We are proposing that the Ontario Energy Board regulate the retail price and wholesale mark-up of petroleum products in Ontario. This will:

• - Prevent pricing practices that undermine the stability and competitiveness of retail markets for petroleum products, including retail markets in remote, rural and northern areas
• - Ensure transparency and reasonableness with respect to the prices of petroleum products, despite geographical location
• - Ensure that gas prices are fair and competitive regardless of where one lives
• - Protect consumers and Northerners from price gouging by gasoline retailers

We can’t delay, add your name to demand Northern Ontarians are no longer forced to pay the price for gas pump gouging.
