End Hallway Medicine in Ontario

Kathleen Wynne’s hospital cuts are putting patients at risk.

In Brampton, more than 4,300 patients were treated in hallways last year because of overcrowding. London saw mental health bed occupancy rates of over 130 per cent every day for 5 months and growing wait times in the ER.

It’s a similar story in hospitals all over Ontario.

And the Conservatives? When they were last in power, they fired 6,000 nurses, closed 28 hospitals and scrapped more than 7,000 beds.

It doesn’t have to be this way. Andrea Horwath has a plan to stop the cuts, and we can count on her to make hospitals a priority again.
