Doug Ford is planning a $330 million per year cut to mental health funding in Ontario, at a time when thousands of Ontario children and adults are either going without care or face long waiting lists for counselling and crisis intervention.
Everyone who needs access to mental health or addiction services should be able to get them, when they need them, but Ford's cuts will have major consequences for communities across Ontario.
It’s time to give mental health and addictions support the focus, attention and funding it needs so we can deliver care families can count on.
