Andrea Horwath extends condolences on death of Madonna Care Community workers

QUEEN'S PARK — NDP Official Opposition Leader Andrea Horwath released the following statement of condolences following the loss of a worker at Madonna Care Community in Orleans who has died of COVID-19:

"I want to express my sorrow at the loss of this worker, and send my heartfelt condolences to their family, friends, and loved ones.

This worker will be remembered by a grieving province, and they will be deeply missed.

My heart especially goes out to everyone at the Madonna Care Community, which has now lost two workers to COVID-19. We are forever grateful to everyone still on the frontlines, despite these tragic losses.”
