NDP statement regarding Westboro Station bus crash

OTTAWA — Joel Harden, MPP for Ottawa Centre, has released the following statement:

“I am heartbroken at the horrific bus crash at Westboro Station. Our hearts are with the victims and their loved ones, the survivors, witnesses, and all those whose lives were impacted by this tragedy.

Thank you to the first responders, who performed life-saving work in freezing weather, and thank you to the medical staff working now to care for the injured.

Ottawa is a compassionate and caring community, and I hope that the outpouring of love offers some comfort to those who lost loved ones, and strength to those who will need to recover from this horrible, tragic event.”
