Doug Ford is attacking Ontario's wetlands, floodplains, source water and the wildlife that depends on them. New legislation lets developers pay a fee to buy the legal right to destroy the environment, and they will require Conservation Authorities to not only stay out of the way but to rubber stamp the destruction.
The environmental protections developers will skirt protect people from dangers like flooding, disease and the contamination of our food and water. Ford continues to put people and our climate at greater risk, so that his friends can profit.
