Lawyers are encountering the impacts of Ford’s limiting access to justice in their daily work.This includes legal aid certificate and clinic cuts, combined with deterioration and partisan appointments in the adjudicative tribunals that so many vulnerable people rely on for access to justice.

Ultimately, large scale changes will come through individual action in the political process, especially at the provincial level. We’re less than two years from the next provincial election and we need a powerful vision as an alternative to what Ford is serving up.
