Statement by Ontario NDP Leader Andrea Horwath on Rosh Hashanah

 On behalf of Ontario’s New Democrats, I wish all Ontarians who are celebrating Rosh Hashanah a Happy Jewish New Year.

The first of the High Holy Days, Rosh Hashanah is a time for redemption, forgiveness and renewal. It is also a time to gather with family, friends and community in celebration, and to reflect on the year that was and to look forward to the year ahead. 

On this holy day we are proud to recognize the outstanding contributions of the Jewish community to Ontario’s social, economic and cultural success.

To everyone who is celebrating across our province, Ontario’s New Democrats wish you peace, prosperity and good health.
