Remembrance Day Statement from Andrea Horwath

Today we honour the memory of those who fought valiantly for Canada’s rights and freedoms. The courageous individuals who have given their lives are remembered.

On behalf of the Ontario New Democrats, we thank the veterans of Canada for the many sacrifices they and their families have made – we owe them so much.

 

We encourage all Ontarians to remember those who have served our great nation. We honour their memory by working hard to better the province and the country that we are so proud of.

Lest we forget.
