Quotes
NDP Leader Andrea Horwath
“Chris is known for being deeply connected to and involved in his community of Spadina-Fort York. When he’s not in the legislature fighting for affordable child care, homes people can afford and meaningful action to tackle the climate crisis, he’s in his riding with community organizations and volunteers helping deliver donations to people in need or sand-bagging the Toronto Islands to protect them from seasonal flooding. Chris’ motivation to make people’s lives better will help the NDP deliver on the hope and support folks need coming out of the pandemic when we form government in 2022, from fixing long-term care to shoring up small businesses.”
Chris Glover, NDP candidate for Spadina-Fort York
“I wish to thank local New Democrats for their support as I seek a second term as MPP for Spadina-Fort York. Doug Ford keeps putting money and politics ahead of public health during the pandemic, and our neighbours are paying the price. I’m running for Andrea Horwath’s New Democrats again because the NDP is proposing solutions that will help Spadina-Fort York families get through this and usher in a just recovery. We can stop the cycle of sickness and lockdowns now by banning evictions, bringing in paid sick days, and making class sizes smaller and safer. And we can start building a brighter future in this province by delivering tens of thousands of homes people can afford and hiring thousands of personal support workers in long-term care.”
