Andrea Horwath message on the International Day for the Elmination of Racial Discrimination

Growing inequality, persistent discrimination, and systemic racism continue to shape the lives of far too many people across the globe, and right here in our province.

Today, on the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination I’m proud to affirm the Ontario NDP’s commitment to end racism, in all its forms.

Most recently, Ontario’s New Democrats joined leaders and activists in communities across this province to call for the establishment an Anti-Racism office in Ontario.

By working together, we pushed the government to take an important step forward to tackle systemic racism in our province.

Each of us has a responsibility to fight racial discrimination, and together, we can build an Ontario where everyone succeeds, and no one is left behind!
