Liberals won't fix what they broke in education
The Del Duca Liberal record on education is not one to be proud of:
- Closed hundreds of schools
- Ballooned classroom sizes
- Together with the PCs, froze teacher and education workers’ wages
- Abandoned crumbling schools with a $16 billion repair backlog
- Cut education funding, including for special needs students
Of course, the PCs made things worse with huge cuts.
Andrea Horwath will fix what the Liberals and PCs broke, by reversing Ford’s cuts, clearing the school repair backlog the Liberals left behind, and hiring 20,000 educators.
