MPP Taylor calls for inquest into death of Neveah

QUEEN’S PARK – MPP Monique Taylor (Hamilton Mountain) is calling for an inquest into the death of Neveah, a four-year old girl whose body was discovered in a Rosedale dumpster nearly one year after her death and disappearance:

“To think of how badly Neveah was failed at every level is devastating. It’s unacceptable that this happened, and there’s no excusing it. How can a child go missing and no one even notices? How can so many people miss her disappearance?

So much went wrong here. We need to make sure it never, ever happens again. I am calling for an immediate inquest to get to the bottom of what happened here. We need justice for Neveah.”
