Quotes

NDP Leader Andrea Horwath
“Peggy has long been a fighter for Londoners, and has been instrumental in the fight to protect London as our province confronts the COVID-19 pandemic. Peggy and the NDP MPP team have been hard at work advocating for what local families need right now, but Doug Ford refuses to invest in, including smaller, safer class sizes and direct support for small businesses that are struggling. In 2022, we’re going to work together to create good-paying jobs Londoners can raise a family on, invest in high quality public health care and education, and finally give aging folks the home care and long-term care they deserve to protect their quality of life.”

Peggy Sattler, NDP candidate for London West
“I’m honoured to represent my community, and proud of what my London colleagues and I have been able to get done for Londoners, including putting pressure on Ford to back down from cuts to municipalities affecting ambulance services, child care and public health. I’m eager to build on our successes with Andrea Horwath when the NDP forms government in 2022, starting with transforming long-term care and home care, giving our hospitals the tools they need to end long waits for care and procedures, and delivering more homes people can afford.”
