PRE-ELECTION DIGITAL TOOLS OFFICER

Job Summary

The Ontario NDP is on the lookout for a skilled and tech-savvy Digital Tools Officer to help drive the success of Marit Stiles and our movement. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, test, and refine email campaigns using ActionKit and SMS platforms to enhance engagement and effectiveness.
  • Plan, test, and optimize advertising campaigns across Meta, YouTube, display, search, and programmatic channels to achieve fundraising, acquisition, and persuasion targets.
  • Ensure all digital outreach efforts—emails, texts, ads, and more—adhere to established data standards and naming conventions for accurate and efficient reporting.
  • Leverage the full potential of our digital tools ecosystem, including ActionKit, SoSha, Community, Newmode, and others, to maximize campaign impact.
  • Collaborate closely with the digital and data teams to align strategies, achieve campaign goals, and maintain seamless data and systems integration.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with ActionKit is essential.
  • Experienced with digital mobilization tools and digital ads, including Meta, Google Analytics, Google Ads, and programmatic advertising platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to design, test, and optimize email and SMS campaigns, and integrate data flows across multiple tools.
  • Strong ability to learn and adapt to new digital tools and technologies, with experience in managing systems integration and data consistency.
  • Excellent written communication skills for external-facing content are a plus.
  • Passionate about social issues and familiar with the Ontario NDP, with a deep understanding of progressive values.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure work environment where attention to detail and meeting tight deadlines are critical.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

The position is covered by the COPE 343 Collective Agreement and falls under the Tier 5 category.
