Quotes

NDP Leader Andrea Horwath
“The people of Mushkegowuk-James Bay have a devoted and hard working MPP in Guy. Guy and his Northern Ontario colleagues have been fighting to ensure Northern Ontarians get their fair share. In 2022, our NDP government will make big strides on this by funding health care, long-term care and education in Northern Ontario based on need, putting an end to the shortchanging and underfunding that has happened under the Liberals and Conservatives. Plus, we’ll invest in creating good-paying jobs and homes people can afford, right here in Northern Ontario.”

Guy Bourgouin, NDP candidate for Mushkegowuk-James Bay
“I am proud to represent the many communities of Mushkegowuk-James Bay, and honoured to continue the fight for fair and well-paid jobs, education, construction and maintenance on our highways, and health care for Northern Ontarians. I am keen to build upon my ongoing efforts with Andrea Horwath in an NDP government in 2022, and to ensure that, as a Treaty partner, Ontario brings prosperity for the Indigenous peoples of Mushkegowuk-James Bay.”
