Harden's "Ride for Safety" sets the stage for safer roads and stronger communities
OTTAWA - Official Opposition NDP critic for Transit and Active Transportation, Joel Harden (Ottawa Centre), released the following statement as he cycles off on his upcoming initiative, "Ride for Safety":
"This ride signifies my relentless commitment to safeguarding vulnerable road users and forging safer streets for all Ontarians. It is a call to action, reminding us that road safety should be at the forefront of our political agenda, free from partisan divisions. Our collective responsibility is to pass Bill 40, a vital step towards real progress and a safer future for everyone on our roads."
MPP Harden will be riding his bike from Ottawa to Toronto, making stops along the way to consult with local communities and gather valuable insights from residents across Ontario to advance Bill 40.
