Quotes

NDP Leader Andrea Horwath

“I am thrilled to have Jen on my team to fight for education and local schools for families in Peterborough. Parents and kids just can’t afford more of Ford’s cuts to education and health care. We also can’t trust the Del Duca Liberals that shuttered schools across the province, and left our hospitals and seniors care in crisis. Together with Jen, we can begin fixing long-term care and home care left broken after years of Liberal and Conservative governments. An NDP government will invest in our schools and hospitals and help make life more affordable for families in Peterborough and across the province.”

Jen Deck, NDP candidate for Peterborough- Kawartha

“I love my community and I want to work to make sure that everyone feels valued and can live their best lives here. I will work to restore the funding and resources for our public services that we depend on like health care and education — which were left broken after years of cuts under Liberal and Conservative governments. We need a government that will finally invest in our communities by revamping long-term care and home care and help make life more affordable. An NDP government will help families afford their first homes and build their brightest futures right here in Peterborough-Kawartha.”
