MILTON — New Democrats in Milton have chosen Katherine-Anne Cirlincione to be their NDP candidate in the 2022 election.
“Working closely with families in need in our communities, I know how difficult and unaffordable life has become for so many. Protection for consumers and affordable childcare, housing and energy are desperately needed. I am excited to work with Andrea Horwath and the NDP team to fix what has been broken by Doug Ford and by years of Liberal and Conservative governments,” said Cirlincione.
In addition to being an HR and training professional, Cirlincione is an active community volunteer. She founded a non-profit organization during the pandemic that provided help to over 1,000 families.
“The pandemic has exposed the gaps in access to essential services like health care and long-term care, as well as protections for workers like paid sick days. People deserve a government that will fix what matters and invest in health care, seniors' care and education. Andrea Horwath and the NDP are the team that can beat Doug Ford and deliver what matters most to the people of Ontario. I am excited to be joining this hardworking team,” Cirlincione said.
