NIAGARA FALLS – Ontario’s New Democrats are going back to their roots for their first in-person convention since 2019, kicking off in Niagara Falls this afternoon. Over 63 years ago, the party was founded in Niagara Falls by farmers, unions, and families fighting for a better future.
Convention delegates will hear from an exciting list of speakers, including Manitoba Premier Wab Kinew, Saskatchewan NDP Leader Carla Beck, and organizers from New York who played an instrumental role in the Zohran Mamdani campaign. Ontario NDP Leader Marit Stiles will be addressing party members on Saturday to share her vision for the party’s path to victory.
New Democrats will be bringing forward their best ideas, building the skills they need to take on Doug Ford’s Conservatives and build a future that working people can afford.
The Niagara Convention will take place from September 19th to the 21st. The full agenda for the weekend can be found here.
