Ontario NDP Leader Andrea Horwath Marks World AIDS Day

Queen’s Park – Ontario NDP Leader Andrea Horwath issued the following statement to mark World Aids Day.

“On World AIDS Day New Democrats join with our fellow Ontarians, and citizens around the world, to celebrate the incredible progress made in the prevention and treatment of HIV/AIDS. Together we must strive to eliminate the stigma, and all forms of discrimination, for those living with HIV/AIDS. All levels of government must work with care givers, medical professionals, and members of the community, to increase awareness, to improve education, and to identify and address funding gaps in in the fight against this disease.  Ontario must continue do its part in in the global struggle to beat HIV/AIDS once and for all. ”
