Statement from NDP candidate Phil Trotter

“At an all-candidates' forum last night, after saying that the NDP would not consider a coalition, I expressed a concern about a Doug Ford government and, in doing so, indicated the opposite.

That’s contrary to the position of Andrea Horwath and the Ontario NDP. She has absolutely ruled out a coalition with the Liberals or with the Conservatives.

I offer my unreserved apology to the voters of Etobicoke-Lakeshore. I am committed to working hard every day to ensure Andrea Horwath is elected premier on June 7. As Andrea said yesterday, there will be no coalition.”
