Statement by Ontario NDP Energy Critic Peter Tabuns on rising electricity rates

 Ontario NDP Energy Critic Peter Tabuns‎ issued the following statement on rising electricity rates. 

'Unfortunately, today's spike in electricity rates is just a hint of the jolts to come if Kathleen Wynne goes ahead with her plan to sell-off Hydro One. Not only will the public lose oversight and control over our electricity transmission system, but privatization will drive hydro bills up even higher. The Premier needs to listen to Ontarians and stop the Hydro One fire sale before it's too late.'
