HERE'S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Below is a list of questions and answers to help guide you as you prepare to submit your ballot for the Ontario NDP Leadership Contest. This information has been relayed to all members in good standing, who have purchased memberships before the January 3 deadline, over email. The FAQs below are meant to supplement your knowledge. Please check your email inbox for correspondance from DOTS to ensure you have what you need to submit your ballot.

When does voting open and close?

January 28 @ 9:00 AM EST – February 4 @ 12:00 PM (noon) EST.

How will I receive my ballot?

Ballots will be sent to members in good standing via email on January 28 from DOTS (Data On The Spot). Don’t see it? Check your junk or spam! Still don’t see it? Contact DOTS!

What if I don’t have an email address on file?

Members in good standing without emails on file were mailed a Notice of Vote on January 18 with instructions to contact DOTS helpline.

What if DOTS tells me I am not on the list?

Call Ontario’s NDP to check on your membership status.

When was the membership deadline?

January 3, 2023

Do affiliate voters vote differently?

No – affiliate voters will also be sent a ballot via email on January 28 and can also access the DOTS helpline.
